Gloria Bloomer, a marketing strategist, and member of Pima Community College Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2004, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors for 2014-15.
"It is a great privilege to chair the Pima Community College Foundation this year,” Bloomer said. “I look forward to working with the College and the greater Tucson community to advance the work of the Foundation. It’s wonderful to play a small part in providing scholarships to deserving students in our community. These scholarships afford them the very best opportunities to compete in a 21st century economy."
Other officers include Tobin Voge, Tucson Electric Power as Chair-Elect; Tommy Roof, W.E. O’Neil Construction Company, Vice Chair; Sarah Evans, University of Arizona, Secretary; Robert Ramirez, Vantage West Credit Union, Treasurer; and Greg Good, Good Law P.C., Immediate Past Chair. Cheryl House, CFRE, is Executive Director.
In addition, four new members were elected to serve on the PCC Foundation’s Board of Directors: Amanda Granzella, Community Banking District Manager, Wells Fargo Bank; Becky Kueker, Vice Established in 1977, the Pima Community College Foundation secures and manages private philanthropic support for Pima Community College.
