HomeGoods, the off-price store dedicated to home fashions, will open a new store in Oro Valley on this Sunday at 8 a.m. The 25,000 square-foot store is located at Oracle Crossings, North Oracle Road and Magee Road.
Special grand opening day hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Regular store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It will be the second HomeGoods in Tucson. The other is located in the Circle Plaza Shopping Center.
“We are excited to bring HomeGoods and our off-price concept to Oro Valley shoppers,” states Richard Sherr, the company’s president. “Consumers are more value conscious than ever and we know that our new store will be a welcome addition because our outstanding prices on high-quality home fashions allow shoppers to affordably update their homes without sacrificing quality or style.”
The Oro Valley store is expected to fill approximately 60 full and part-time positions. In honor of the grand opening and to support the Tucson community, HomeGoods will donate $5,000 to Comin’ Home, Inc.
“Supporting the communities where our stores are located is a core value of HomeGoods and we are happy to make a donation to Comin’ Home, Inc., in support of its mission of providing housing and community services to homeless veterans,” said Robyn Arvedon, spokesperson for HomeGoods.
