The Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce will hold two events Wednesday that are open to the public and require an RSVP.
The educational workshop Making Facebook a Part of Your Integrated Marketing Strategy will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at Pima Community College's Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road, in community room A207.
The cost is $10. Refreshments will be served.
The workshop will be conducted by Becky Kimes of Spirited Marketing and Robert Nissenbaum of Blue Ridge Wireless. They will provide insight and ideas on incorporating Facebook into a business's marketing strategy.
The NPCCC asks people to RSVP by Oct. 18 at 5 p.m. by calling 297-2191 or emailing events@the-chamber.com.
That evening, the NPCCC will host an Art Walk mixer from 5 to 7 on the patio of Oro Valley Hospital, 1551 E. Tangerine Road.
Attendees are invited to take a self-guided art walk through the hospital and mingle with Northwest Allied Physicians.
Appetizers will be provided by Ric's Café, while locally roasted, handcrafted coffee will be provided by Desert Rain Coffee.
The cost is $5 for NPCCC members and $10 for non-members.
The chamber moved the monthly mixer from Thursday to Wednesday for October only due to the Oct. 20 UA Wildcats game.
To RSVP, call the chamber at 297-2191.
