Parents and students of Butterfield Elementary School are invited to participate in a special event titled “Math Games Night” on Tuesday, December 4 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. as part of the school’s commitment to keep students engaged and excited about math.
This 1st annual event is a fun-filled opportunity for parents to learn a variety of games to help children learn specific math concepts to enhance analytic thinking and problem-solving skills. Parents will learn fun and unique strategies to incorporate math lessons into daily activities and keep their children learning and active outside of school.
Math Games Night will also include snacks and drawings for fabulous door prizes!
“This event provides wonderful opportunities to further engage parents in their child’s learning experience,” said Patricia Abbuhl, Butterfield Elementary principal. “Students can develop a greater understanding when their parents are actively modeling the importance of learning math concepts and skills.”
