With the Marana election less than a week away, Town officials estimate they have only recieved about 20 percent of the ballots back.
In Marana, with an estimated 20,000 ballots being mailed out, the Recorder’s office has received just over 4,000.
In the all-ballot-by-mail election, oters have until Friday to mail their ballots to ensure they are received by the Pima County Recorder’s Office by Election Day, March 12.
Voters also can drop off ballots in person until 7 p.m. March 12 at the following locations:
• At the Recorder’s Office, 115 N. Church Ave.
• At Marana Town Hall, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive.
Voters who lost their ballots can order replacements by 5 p.m. Wednesday by calling 724-4330.
