Celebrating the life of her daughter, Roxanna Green will share Christina-Taylor’s inspiring story and sign copies of "As Good As She Imagined," at Splendido, located at 13500 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd., from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 24, 2012. Refreshments will be served to guests during the event and copies of As Good As She Imagined will be available for purchase there as well. To attend the event, please call in or email your reservation by Friday, March 23, 2012 to (520) 878-2612 or info@splendidotucson.com .

"As Good As She Imagined" is Roxanna’s personal account of her daughter’s life detailing the events leading up to the January 8, 2011 tragic shooting in Tucson that would take Christina-Taylor’s life as well as the lives of five others and gravely wound Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 13 others. With the help of best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins, Roxanna shares her family’s journey of faith during a time of unspeakable tragedy.

Some of the proceeds from the book benefit the Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Foundation, established to honor the life and memory of Roxanna and John Green’s daughter through charitable and educational projects that reflect and embody her interests, values and dreams. The Foundation will be issuing a call for Grant Proposals in the spring of 2012. The goal is to give out approximately $150,000 in grant money for multiple small projects.
