The Pima County Deputy Sheriff's Association has endorsed Mike Hellon for the Pima County Board of Supervisors seat for District 1.
Joe Cameron, Chairman of deputy sheriff's association, said, "Our members have observed Mike Hellon's service to Pima County for many years. He is honest, fair and intelligent and makes decisions based upon the facts in front of him. We have every confidence that he will be a valuable and effective member of the Board of Supervisors."
In responding to the deputies' endorsement, Hellon said, "In the unincorporated portion of Pima County, the Sheriff's deputies are the front line of defense against crime. I am honored to have their confidence and have the highest respect for the job they do."
Hellon has also been endorsed by U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl.
