Train tracks at Tangerine Road are closing the first weekend in January for improvements.
Work begins Jan. 4 at 9 a.m. and lasts until Jan. 6 at 4 p.m. Motorists needing to cross the tracks will be detoured to Twin Peaks Road when approaching from the east side of the crossing or via the I-10 frontage roads when approaching from the westbound I-10 frontage road or west of the crossing.
Businesses near the tracks will be open and accessible.
In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen conditions, the schedule may be delayed.
