Twin Peaks interchange

The first delivery of concrete bridge girders for the I-10 Twin Peaks overpass will be delivered to the project construction site this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 19 and 20. Each girder is 120 feet long and will require its own transport truck and two pilot vehicles.

 Deliveries are scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. on both days, with 15-minute intervals between each delivery. The scheduled delivery route is as follows:

Trucks will be coming from Phoenix using eastbound I-10. Trucks will continue their route on eastbound I-10 past the current road closure barricades and travel directly into the construction site.

The Department of Public Safety will assist in directing the trucks along their routes.

Oracle Road, Tangerine Road to Calle Concordia

The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduling the following restrictions as part of the Oracle Road (State Route 77) widening between Tangerine Road and Calle Concordia. Temporary barriers will be in place wherever applicable during construction.

North- and southbound Oracle Road

• From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, from Tuesday, Nov. 17, through Thursday, Nov. 19, north- and southbound Oracle Road from Tangerine Road to Calle Concordia is scheduled for rolling lane restrictions as construction workers stripe lanes. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

• From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, from Tuesday, Nov. 17, through Thursday, Nov. 19, north- and southbound Oracle Road from Tangerine Road to Calle Concordia is scheduled for left-turn and left lane (median lane) restrictions for painting the medians and striping crosswalks. Short delays may occur while striping the crosswalks. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

Interstate 10: Picacho Peak Road to Pinal Air Park Road

The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduling the following restrictions as part of the Interstate 10 widening between Picacho Peak Road and Pinal Air Park Road. Please note that traffic control devices may be set up early, but restrictions will occur as scheduled.

East- and Westbound I-10

• From 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. the following morning, from Monday, Nov. 16 through Thursday, Nov. 19, east- and westbound I-10 from Picacho Peak Road (milepost 218) to Pinal Air Park Road (milepost 232) is scheduled for rolling lane restrictions as construction workers install raised pavement markers on the roadway. Two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times.

Westbound I-10

• From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, from Monday, Nov. 16, through Thursday, Nov. 19, a right-lane closure is scheduled from milepost 218 to milepost 213 as construction crews place concrete barrier. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
