The Town of Oro Valley is currently accepting applications for a volunteer to serve on the town’s storm water utility commission. There is currently one position available.
The storm water utility commission “would prefer citizens with experience in civic affairs or engineering; however, all interested citizens are encouraged to apply for the position,” a release said.
The Oro Valley Storm Water Utility Commission is the official advisory body that makes recommendations to the town council regarding storm water management, planning, capital improvements and rate structuring.
The commission meets on the third Thursday of each month.
Applications are available at the town clerk’s office, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive, or by calling 229-4700.
The forms are also available for download from the town clerk’s Web site at www.townoforovalley.com/TownClerk/oro_valley_citizen_volunteer_app.htm.
The deadline for submitting the completed application is July 17.
