The American Red Cross and Town of Marana are hosting a blood drive Thursday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive.
Donating blood takes 45 to 60 minutes, and donors do need not know their type in order to give, a release said.
The Red Cross supplies blood to patients at all local hospitals. Because the need for blood is constant, the Red Cross needs about 300 donors each day in Arizona.
To sign up, contact Rodney Campbell, Marana public information officer, at rcampbell@marana.com or 382-1936.
