The Oro Valley Police Department invites the public to bring unwanted documents to a shred-a-thon.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Walmart at the Oro Valley Marketplace. The shopping center is located at the intersection of Oracle and Tangerine roads.

The first two boxes of documents each person brings will be shred for free. A fee of $10 for each additional box of documents applies.

There's no need to remove paperclips or staples from the documents.
