A “giant pink slip party,” labeled Tucson’s “premier job-hunting event,” is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Pearl, 445 W. Wetmore.
The social event is intended for job-seekers looking for contacts and support. “It is time to share, band together, be helpful and have a positive experience,” a release said.
For $2 guests have access to “cheap” cocktails, complementary appetizers, a 50-50 cash raffle and a network of comrades. At least, “you meet people and have a good time. The best, you find a job.”
