NW credit union robbed Thursday
A credit union on West Ina in the Northwest was robbed Thursday,
Sept. 2, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has asked for the
public’s help in identifying the suspect.
At approximately noon Thursday, a man entered the Arizona
Central Credit Union at 2150 W. Ina Road and demanded money.
The suspect walked up to the teller with a plastic bag and
stated, “This is a robbery, empty the drawer.”
He did not show or imply a weapon. The suspect took an
undisclosed amount of cash and exited the bank in a northeast
direction.
The suspect is described as white, 40 to 45 years old and about
five-feet eight-inches to five-feet nine-inches tall.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery or possible
identity of the suspect is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
