A credit union on West Ina in the Northwest was robbed Thursday, Sept. 2, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
At approximately noon Thursday, a man entered the Arizona Central Credit Union at 2150 W. Ina Road and demanded money.
The suspect walked up to the teller with a plastic bag and stated, “This is a robbery, empty the drawer.”
He did not show or imply a weapon. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and exited the bank in a northeast direction.
The suspect is described as white, 40 to 45 years old and about five-feet eight-inches to five-feet nine-inches tall.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery or possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
