Northwest police reports for May 22 - May 31
Marana
• About 9:45 p.m. Thursday, May 29, police responded to a report of a fight in progress at Yoem Pueblo, reservation land in town that is home to members of the Pascua Yaqui tribe. No arrests were made.
• About 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, an officer responded to a call about an assault at the Classic Car Spa, 4300 W. Ina Road. No arrests were made.
• About 8:40 p.m. Saturday, May 31, police responded to a report of a fight in progress on the 3800 block of West Orange Grove Road. No arrests were made.
Oro Valley
• About 9:15 p.m. Thursday, May 22, an officer found a green Nissan pickup truck parked illegally on the 8700 block of North Glenhurst Place. The officer found two men sitting inside the truck, which smelled of burn marijuana. A search of the truck produced a “loaded syringe” of heroin and a blue glass pipe with marijuana residue. The officer arrested both men on various drug charges.
