USAService, a newly forming nationwide movement of volunteers, will hold an introductory meeting locally at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Barnes & Noble bookstore at the Foothills Mall.
During the meet-up, the group “will consider the challenges facing our community, re-ignite the American tradition of service, and decide how we can best take action for Tucson,” according to a release.
The group evolved out of President Barack Obama’s pre-inauguration “call to service,” the release said. For more information, call Gail at 990-5382.
