Twin Peaks Road at Coachline Boulevard
This Wednesday, construction crews begin installing traffic signal poles in the median at Twin Peaks Road in Marana's Continental Ranch. Installation will require left lane closures for both east- and west-bound travel lanes along Twin Peaks Road at Coachline Boulevard.
Work will take place through Friday from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.; crews anticipate completion by Monday, June 14.
This improvement is being made possible as part of the Twin Peaks Interchange Project, which is a partnership among the Arizona Department of Transportation, Town of Marana and the Regional Transportation Authority.
Barnett Road, from Sandario Road to West Civic Center Drive in Marana, is going to be closed for approximately 45 days, beginning Monday, June 14.
Arizona Underground, Inc., is constructing the site and civil work for the Marana Health Center, and Bill Gaudette Drive improvements.
Among the improvements affecting traffic are mass grading for the Marana Health Center, to include excavation of the Barnett Channel, which runs parallel with Barnett Road. Excavated material is being transported to the Marana Health Center site, requiring the full road closure of Barnett east of Sandario and west of Civic Center Drive.
The entire project will take approximately six months to complete. Anyone with questions may call Arizona Underground, Inc. at 887-0604 or Town of Marana Development Engineering at 382-2600.
