A public hearing on the Cortaro Farms/Magee road project is being held Wednesday, July 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Campus of Pima Community College.
Officials with participating agencies are presenting the project's draft environmental assessment and design concept report for public review and comment, according to a release.
Cortaro Farms/Magee is scheduled for widening and improvement from Thornydale to Oracle roads. Pima County Department of Transportation is the lead agency, along with the Federal Highway Administration, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Regional Transportation Authority.
A formal presentation is planned for 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in room A-207 of the Northwest Campus, located at 7600 N. Shannon. Maps and project information are being presented.
