This image, comprised of 58 30-second shots compressed on top of each other, shows the stars moving through the night sky Monday night. Tuesday morning was the apex of the Leonids meteor shower, an annual cosmological event when Earth passes through a meteor field made of debris left from the comet Tempel-Tuttle.
