Pima County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives are investigating a double killing in the Northwest.
On Sunday, Oct. 10, at 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to a home near Flowing Wells and Wetmore roads following a call to a check on the welfare of the residents.
When deputies arrived at the home they met with Roosevelt Williams, 36, who answered the door. Inside the home, deputies found Robert E. Days, 71, and John Parson, 51, dead with obvious signs of trauma.
Detectives interviewed Williams, who was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
"The arrestee had been living with the two victims for approximately a month," Pima County Sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan said.
Williams made no attempts to flee when deputies arrived at the home, Ogan said.
Officials have not determined when the victims died or identified a motive for the killings.
