Kelsie Stenz, who graduated from Marana High School this year, demonstrated how to arc weld during the school’s Mentoring A Girl in Construction (MAGIC) Camp last week.

Throughout the week, 37 girls made their own toolboxes, welded horseshoe business card holders and wired lamps.

Marana’s MAGIC Camp, one of eight similar camps in the nation, is produced in conjunction with the National Association of Women In Construction.
