An open house for people to ask questions about the new Twin Peaks interchange is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 4, at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr., Library in Marana.
A presentation is planned for 6:45 p.m. The library is located at 7800 N. Schisler, at the southeast corner of Silverbell and Cortaro roads.
On April 17, the Arizona Department of Transportation awarded a $50.4 million contract to Pulice Construction of Phoenix to build the interchange at Twin Peaks Road and Linda Vista Boulevard. The start of work is imminent, according to Marana Mayor Ed Honea and Town Manager Gilbert Davidson.
Area residents, property owners and business people are invited to review the new design, artwork and construction timeline, and ask questions of project managers, according to a release from the Regional Transportation Authority.
An update on the Camino de Manana project between Twin Peaks and Tangerine Road is also planned.
