Golder Ranch Fire District is officially opening and dedicating its fifth fire station this Saturday, Aug. 16, with a free breakfast at the 10475 N. La Cañada facility.

Members of the public can enjoy pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee, served up by the North Tucson Firefighters Association Local 3832, from 9 to about 11 a.m. Saturday, according to Golder Ranch spokeswoman Sue Clark.

Golder Ranch Station 376 is located near La Cañada and Lambert, Clark said. It is the fifth station in the district, and has been open about a month.

Golder Ranch Fire District Chief John Fink is attending, and making remarks. “The ceremony itself is going to be short and sweet,” Clark said, with breakfast and an open house completing the morning.
