For 13 years, residents along Niblick Drive in SaddleBrooke play host to a night of holiday lights, food and music.

And Monday nigh was no different.

Hundreds of people made their way down the road clad in Santa hats and sweaters while drinking warm beverages. Visitors mingled with friends and neighbors and singing carols into the early evening.

During the “Grand Lighting”, the Southwest skies put on a show of their own with the moon, Jupiter and Venus. The two planets formed what is called a planetary conjunction where two planets appear to be very close together.

The planets will not be that close together for viewing again until May 2013.
