The Town of Oro Valley is currently accepting letters of interest and resumes from Oro Valley residents to fill an unexpired term that is the result of a council member resignation.
One applicant will be appointed by the Oro Valley Town Council to the seat previously held by Paula Abbott, a Thursday release said.
Term of office runs until June 2, it continued.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be a resident in Oro Valley for a minimum of one year.

Responses must be received no later than noon Wednesday, Nov. 25.
