Warehouse Vitamins has new ownership in Oro Valley and Tucson.
The local chain of seven Warehouse Vitamins stores is now owned and operated by parent company Tree of Life, Inc., a marketer and distributor of natural, organic, gourmet and specialty supplements and multicultural food products to supermarket chains, independent grocers, natural / health food stores, and specialty / ethnic stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
"We're thrilled to be part of the Tree of Life family," said Matthew Baird, Warehouse Vitamins general manager. "They've been key in helping us renew, improve, and grow our stores. It's wonderful to be part of a company with such a strong reputation for excellence."
The chain has changed its logo and added products, a release said.
"The stores are really thriving – every month we're seeing more new and returning customers," said Doug Langenbahn, Warehouse Vitamins chief financial officer.
Warehouse Vitamins is working with Marcel's Total Fitness in its current weight loss challenge, Langenbahn said. "This is just the first in Warehouse Vitamins' involvement in many health conscious and educational community events."
The company's management team includes Langenbahn, general manager Matthew Baird and store managers Jillian Hoenshell, Mary Ann Adels, Nancy Starbuck, Jasmine Duran, Nick Stradford, Kody Hall and Cathy Bernard.
