Landfills and transfer stations operated by the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality Solid Waste Division will be closed Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1 for the New Year’s holiday.
The closures include landfills in Sahuarita and Ajo, the Tangerine Landfill, and the Catalina and Ryan Field Transfer Stations.
The Solid Waste Administrative Office, 5301 W. Ina Road, also will be closed on those days.
The landfills and Administrative Office will re-open Jan. 2. The transfer stations will be open on their normal schedule, which is Thursday through Saturday.
