The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador and the Town of Oro Valley are teaming up to host a food drive to support the Catalina Food Bank.
During June, people may make donations of non-perishable food items. Items may be donated at the El Conquistador, 10000 N. Oracle Rd., or at the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Dr.
Each person who makes a donation of one item is entered into a drawing to win one of three packages at the Hilton El Conquistador for the Fourth of July weekend. Donations of 10 or more items earn donors an addition drawing entry. The goal is to raise a minimum of 3,000 pounds for the nonprofit agency.
The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador's Fourth of July celebration includes a two-night stay at the resort, a live concert July 4 followed by fireworks, live poolside music, a complimentary commemorative picnic blanket, Wii games and tournaments, a cooking demonstration and poolside games and events.
The food drive runs through Monday, June 29.
