The penalty phase of the Jodi Arias trail is set to resume Wednesday.
Arias has been found guilty of first-degree murder for the 2008 murder of Travis Alexander. Alexander was shot twice, stabbed nearly 30 times, and his throat was slashed.
In the penalty phase, jurors will decide whether or not to sentence Arias to death. To order the death penalty, the jury must find that the murder was especially cruel.
After being found guilty last week, Arias spoke briefly to a Phoenix news station where she said death would set her free, and does not want life in prison.
The judge in the case has since ordered that Arias not be admitted to speak to the media.
Arias was placed on suicide watch over the weekend.
