BASIS schools high in Newsweek rankings

BASIS Oro Valley and BASIS Tucson North both ranked highly in Newsweek’s new national high school rankings.

Oro Valley school holds annual fundraiser

Copper Creek Elementary School held its annual fundraiser, the Hawk Walk, last week. In lieu of selling candy or similar items, students get donations from family and friends. They then walk around a course that covers most of the school’s campus while encountering many surprises along the way.

Area farm provides safe haven for alpacas
