PCC Men’s Soccer Dominate Second Half in Win

The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (7-5, 7-5 in conference) took over in the second half to beat Chandler-Gilbert Community College 4-1 on Saturday in Chandler.

The Aztecs scored three goals in the second half. The game was tied at 1-1 after the first half. Christian Garcia-Cabello (Salpointe Catholic HS) scored two goals for the Aztecs and Arturo Vega (Salpointe Catholic HS) had two assists. Alexis Medina (Nogales HS) and Gabe Gauna (Sahuaro HS) each scored a goal for Pima.

Emmanuel Jimenez (Desert View HS) finished the game with six saves.

The Aztecs will play at the Kino North Grandstand on Wednesday when they host Yavapai College at 7 p.m.
