Mountain View shuts out Cienega 21-0

The Mountain View Mountain Lions kept the Cienega Bobcats scoreless tonight in a 21-0 contest.

Scoring for the Mountain Lions was running back Richie Estrada on carries of 17 and 84 yards, and wide receiver Andre Duncan off a 27-yard pass from quarterback Cody Rochon.

Corbin Gouby and Garrett Darmer led the Mountain Lions' defensive efforts, denying the Bobcats from finding the end zone.

The Mountain Lions improve to 2-0 on the season and next play Mesquite at home on Sept. 12. 

Cienega (0-2) will next face Catalina Foothills on Sept. 12.
