The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's defense dominated over Santa Cruz, not allowing them to convert a first down until late in the fourth quarter.

The Pusch Ridge Lions handily beat the Santa Cruz Dust Devils tonight 62-0.

Leading the way in touchdowns for the Lions was running back Connor Reilly on carries of a total of 23 yards and wide receiver Aaron Penazek for a 34-yard carry and a 10-yard pass from quarterback Jacob Frithsen.

The defense of the Lions prevented the Dust Devils from not converting a first down until the fourth quarter. The Lions finished out the game with 52 passing yards and a total of 302 yards.

The Lions improved their season to 3-1 leading into their next game against Baboquivari on Sept. 27. Santa Cruz will face Imagine Prep Coolidge on the same day.
