For the second straight game, the men’s soccer team (7-4-2) came back to defeat an opponent. Trailing 3-1 at halftime, the Aztecs scored three unanswered goals to beat Arizona Western College 4-3 on Saturday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Field. Roberto Zatarain (Ironwood Ridge HS) put the Aztecs up for good when he scored his second goal of the game in the 72nd minute with an assist from Declan Fulton (Buena HS).

Zatarain started the comeback for Pima when he scored in the 60th. Tanner Bryant (Sabino HS) had the assist on the goal. Yahya Kane (Al Baraka, Maurtania), playing in his fourth game this season, scored in the 61st to tie the game at 3-3.

Kane has three goals on the year. Fulton got Pima on the board with his goal in the 30th with an assist from Enrique Alvarez.

The Aztecs will play at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
