PCC Women’s Soccer Tie With Phoenix College

The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (3-3-1, 3-3-1 in conference) played extra minutes on Thursday that ended in a 2-2 tie against Phoenix College at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix.

Rachel Ridlinghafer (Ironwood Ridge HS) scored two goals in the first half to put the Aztecs ahead 2-1 by halftime. She scored her first goal in the 29th minute and once again in the 37th with an assist from Nikki Reed (Ironwood Ridge HS). Phoenix College tied it in the second half  with a goal in the 49th to force overtime.

The Aztecs will be back at the Kino North Grandstand on Saturday when they host Arizona Western College at 4:30 p.m.
