The women’s soccer team (9-6) fell behind early and couldn’t catch up as it lost to Paradise Valley Community College 8-1 on Tuesday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Field. This snapped the Aztecs’ 3-game winning streak.
The Aztecs got on the board with Kamree Cady’s (Sahuaro HS) goal in the 80th minute with an assist from Ivonne Herrera (Nogales HS). Erika Heredia (Sabino HS) was behind the net in the first half and finished with six saves. Rebecca Lamanda (Sabino HS) played the second half and had seven saves.
The Aztecs will play at Phoenix College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
