The Tigers fell to 3-6 with a 34-7 loss to Sahuaro last Friday night, but may have found an answer to future questions at quarterback. Sophomore Addin Soto threw for 98 yards, with two interceptions. Senior running back / quarterback Josh Boak racked up 34 yards through the air. Junior Eric Gibbs led the Tigers in receiving yards, hauling in three balls for 57 yards, and senior running back Austin Williams came in second with three grabs for 33 yards. Marana was stifled on the ground by a tough Sahuaro defense, but junior running back Louis Payne was able to gain 26 yards on six physical carries. The Tigers finish their regular season on the road this Friday with a trip to Nogales at 7 p.m.

Mountain View

Senior running back Myles Williams rolled for 288 yards on 28 carries and the Mountain Lions improved to 3-6 with a 20-13 win over Sierra Vista Buena (3-7) last Friday night. The first half ended with the Colts keeping the score tight at 13-10 in favor of Mountain View, but Williams broke a 91-yard run early in the second half, racing for the Mountain Lions' final points of the game. The stingy Mountain View defense did the rest, holding the Colts to 270 total yards.

The Mountain Lions return home this Friday at 7 p.m. to host rival Ironwood Ridge in the final game of the regular season for both squads.
