The Pima Community College women’s basketball team (16-13, 12-8 in conference) controlled its game against Tohono O’Odham Community College from the start in its 103-49 win on Tuesday at the West Campus where the Aztecs honored its six sophomores after the game.
The Aztecs produced seven players in double figures scoring and three of them had double-doubles on the night. After the game the Aztecs honored A’jha Edwards (Tombstone HS), DJ Davis (Tolleson HS), Alyssa Roche (Cienega HS), Mya Perrow-Donovan (Ironwood Ridge HS), Ashlei Scott (Chandler HS) and Kellie Miller (Basha HS).
Felicia Foster (Peoria HS) led all scores with a game-high 18 points. She went 6 for 10 from 3-point range. Edwards finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds while Raja Moreno (Tucson Magnet HS) had 13 points and 11 rebounds. Perrow-Donovan was also dominant finishing with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Davis and Rachel Williams (Cesar Chavez HS) each contributed with 13 points and Scott had 10 for the game.
The Aztecs finish the regular season on Friday at Cochise College. The game will start at 5:30 p.m.
