• Ladies can register now for the upcoming season of Marana’s first professional women’s football team — The Marana SheDevils! Sign up at Foothills Mall’s SportsZone location for September tryouts, or call 449-3086 for more information.

• Nature journaling is a fun way to embrace the natural world while honing your own creativity. Bring pencil and paper to write and sketch the Sonoran Desert around you. • Discover the mysteries of the monsoon. Learn why some plants can resurrect after rains and animals like toads and tarantulas get active during storms.
