Coronado LL sends kids to UA clinic
Coronado Little League baseball players sharpened their hitting, fielding and pitching skills in November, when the University of Arizona baseball program hosted a one-day clinic.
UA assistant coach Brett Scyphers and current Wildcat players taught the fundamentals to players ages 7-13. Approximately 50 young players from across Tucson took part, with Coronado sending 12 who wanted to sharpen their skills and show support for the ‘Cats.

Boxing Inc., North has a state champ
A Mountain View High School freshman boxer has won his division in the Arizona State Silver Gloves Championship.
Sean Pelletier captured the 119-pound senior division crown.
Pelletier won two bouts, qualifying to compete in the USA Boxing District 8 regional tournament.
Pelletier boxes on the Boxing Inc., North, team, coached by volunteer trainers Rigo Borrego, Jose Cordova and Rodney Flores.
