Don Boorse/Special to The Explorer, Last Thursday night, Tucsonans were treated to the Tucson Toros' first baseball game of the season at Hi Corbett Field, with pitcher Lorenzo Barcelo hurling a fastball. The Toros defeated the Chico Outlaws, 8-6.

Don Boorse/Special to The Explorer, Nearly 5,000 people were in attendance to the Tucson Toros' season-opening game last Thursday. The park offers specials during each home game such as $1 drinks after the first pitch on Thirsty Thursdays, followed by fireworks Fridays and dollar dog Sundays.
