PCC Football’s Ellis Scores Three TDs in Win Over Snow College

The Pima Community College football team (2-2, 2-2 in conference) came from behind in the second half to defeat Snow College 21-14 on Saturday at Kino Stadium.

Seth Ellis (Coolidge HS), who played double duty on offense and defense, scored three rushing touchdowns for the Aztecs which included the game-winning 11-yard run with 1:26 left in the game.

Down 14-0, Ellis scored on a 27-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to cut Snow’s lead to 14-7. Ellis scored at the beginning of the fourth quarter on an 8-yard run.

The Aztecs surpassed its win total from last year.

The Aztecs will play at Scottsdale Community College next Saturday at 7 p.m.
