PCC Cross Country at ACCAC Championships in Glendale

 The cross country teams participated in the ACCAC Championships on Friday at the Glen Lakes Golf Course in Glendale. The women’s team finished in 2nd place with a score of 61 points. Central Arizona College came in first with a team score of 22.

Jamie Shrader (Flagstaff HS) was the top Pima finisher with a time of 19 minutes and 27 seconds which gave her 5th place. Nikki Regalado (Cienega HS) took 7th place with a time of 19:42. Shrader and Regalado were named to the All-ACCAC Conference team.

The men’s team finished 5th in the standings with a score of 127. Central Arizona was 1st with 25 points. Tyler Stamp (Sabino HS) was the top Pima finisher with a time of 26:53 which gave him 23rd place. John Prillaman (Seymour HS) took 27th with a time of 27:16 while Cruz Rodriguez (Empire HS) finished 28th at 27:26.

The Aztecs will be in the Grand Canyon Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Estella Mountain Regional Park in Goodyear, AZ. The women will run at 8 a.m. and the men’s race will start at 8:45 a.m.
