Canyon Del Oro junior Jaide Stepter competed in the 100-meter hurdles in a track meet earlier this month. Stepter is currently ranked first in all state divisions in the 300-meter hurdles and sixth in the state, and first in Division II for the 100-meter hurdles.

Canyon Del Oro's Jaide Stepter broke a national record in the 300-meter hurdles during the Division II State Championships on Saturday.
The USC signee also won first place in long jump, and the 100-meter hurdles.
