A charity golf tournament for the dependent children of deployed military parents is being held Sunday, Aug. 15, at the SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Course.

It's sponsored by the local American Legion Post #132.

Registration opens at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Individual registrations are welcome, and teams will be assigned.

The cost is $60 per golfer, which includes golf cart, 18 holes of golf and lunch. Prizes are awarded, as well as raffle prizes and purchased Mulligans. Coyote Golf Cars is awarding a prize of an EZ golf cart. SaddleBrooke is offering a free foursome at any of the SaddleBrooke golf courses.

Hole sponsorships are $50, with tee displays.
