Kathleen Madigan, who has been deemed by her peers as “the funniest woman comic in America,” didn’t disappoint when she visited The Rialto Theater on Feb. 17. The stop was one of many in her nationwide tour lasting through Oct. 13, when Madigan returns to her hometown of St. Louis for a final act.

There’s a new craze in Tucson, and the Town of Marana recently got a taste of it when hundreds of residents filled the Tower Theatres parking lot on Feb. 6 to go truck hopping.
“Two for ‘The Vow’,” said a couple ahead of my girlfriend and me in the ticket line. As if the male victim could feel my sympathetic stare, he turned to me and gave me the “she won this one” shrug. I nodded my condolences, stepped up to the window, and said, “Two for ‘Safe House’.”
Tucsonans in need of a good laugh should make a trip to The Rialto Theater on Feb. 17 for the arrival of comedian Kathleen Madigan. Madigan is in the midst of a nationwide comedy tour, and has chosen The Rialto as one of her stops.
Tucson Chamber Artists (TCA) will bring together 90 musicians to perform the Brahms Requiem in a series of three concerts in Southern Arizona venues this weekend.
Throughout 2012, Arizona will continue celebrating its 100th birthday. The state officially turned 100 on Feb. 14.
