The Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, Andy Tobin, has endorsed Adam Kwasman for State Representative in the new District 11.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio held a press conference in Tucson Wednesday, announcing his support for Adam Kwasman, who is running for the Arizona House of Representatives, District 26.

While a lot of attention is being paid to the District 8 Congressional race, there is still planning taking place at the state level, especially in District 11.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio endorsed District 26 House of Representatives candidate Adam Kwasman on Nov. 16, during a downtown press conference that was quickly interrupted by Occupy Tucson protestors.

Republican Adam Kwasman, a Tucson native, is looking to take his knowledge in economics, finance, and legislative process into the Arizona House of Representatives, District 11, come the Nov. 6 General Election.

In the race for Legislative District 11 State Representative, Republicans Adam Kwasman and Steve Smith have claimed the two available House seats, defeating Democrat Dave Joseph.

Rep. Adam Kwasman, R-District 11, said his number one priority is defeating Gov. Jan Brewer’s proposal to expand Medicaid in Arizona.

Yesterday I was at the State Capitol shadowing Rep. Adam Kwasman. It was great. I sat in on the Commerce Committee meeting. We are trying to bring businesses to Arizona. Texas is not doing Medicaid-Obamacare. So do you think companies will leave the Obamacare State of California and come to Arizona if we also have Medicaid Obamacare (Obrewercare)? Absolutely not. Why would they come to the same situation they want to leave (over taxed) in California. Texas, here they come, or those other States that don’t pass Medicaid Obamacare. Good luck Arizona because they won’t come here. Thanks Gov. Jan Brewer. She will be leaving as governor so she doesn’t care what happens to our State.

An executive order from Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer might prevent young illegal immigrants from taking advantage of President Barack Obama’s orders to be more lenient.

Sen. Al Melvin was elected to a third term in the Arizona Senate Tuesday night, defeating Democrat Jo Holt for a seat in Legislative District 11, which was formerly District 26.

With the high number of provisional and mail-in ballots last week, the state had more than 600,000 votes to count after the Nov. 6 General Election. In Pima County, election crews spent the last week going through nearly 80,000 ballots.
