When we contemplate the services municipalities provide, we
generally think about the basics: public works to maintain streets
and sidewalks, utilities to deliver clean drinking water, and
public safety officers to respond promptly when help is needed. If
Marana offered only those services, we would continue to be a very
good community in which to live and work.

Since being launched 10 years ago, 70 AMBER Alerts have been issued in Arizona. All but one – the ongoing Jhessye Shockley case – was resolved successfully through a partnership between local radio and television broadcasters, law enforcement, the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and the public to recover abducted children.

On Monday, Oct. 29, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is awarding the Northwest Fire District equipment in order to continue protecting and serving the residents of Pima County.
