Governor Jan Brewer today announced the appointment of Edward “Pat” Madden to the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. Mr. Madden has been appointed for a five-year term, effective January 21, 2013.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is asking for assistance from deer and elk hunters in monitoring efforts for chronic wasting disease (CWD).

The donation included 12 bows, five targets, 60 arrows, and a net to allow for indoor archery.
Wilson K-8 School brought some of its bows, which were donated by the Arizona Game and Fish department in November of 2010.
Mark Frieberg of the Arizona Game and Fish Department holds a baby javelina recovered by a motorist Wednesday morning from the area of Speedway Boulevard and Greasewood Road.
For safety reasons, the Arizona Game & Fish Department has put a halt on javelina hunting near the tournament play area Friday through Feb. 27, when the Accenture Match Play Championship ends.
