On Monday, December 23rd, 2013 at 6:25 a.m. an armed robbery occurred at the “M Passion Adult Boutique” in Picacho Peak. Two armed suspects entered the business and tied up the female employee in a back room. The female was able to escape and called 9-1-1 as the suspects were running out the back door. The safe from the business was taken by the suspects.

On Tuesday, October 8 around 3:30 p.m., Marana Police Department officers responded to the National Bank of America located at 11853 West Marana Road in response to a robbery that occurred. Upon arrival, the officers determined that the suspects had fled from the scene.

The suspect associated with an armed bank robbery at the US Bank located at 7685 East Broadway on September 6 was identified as 52-year-old Vincent Mark Cesare. Major Theft Offenders Unit of the Tucson Police Department located Cesare on the evening of September 10.

The Tucson Police Department is happy to report that the male suspect responsible for the robbery incident that occurred at the US Bank located inside the Safeway grocery store at 1940 East Broadway has been both identified and apprehended. In addition, the same male has been identified and arrested in relation to several other robbery incidents.

On May 29, at about 3:04 a.m., Pima County deputies with the Foothills District responded to the Quick Mart located at 900 West Roger Road in reference to an armed robbery. An armed man who demanded money approached the clerk at the counter.

Yesterday at approximately 11 a.m., Marana Police officers responded to 3951 W Ina Rd., Check Into Cash in reference to an armed robbery.

On January 2, 2012, at approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies from
the Foothills District responded to the Basha's Grocery Store
located at 8360 North Thornydale Road in reference to an armed
robbery. Upon arrival, deputies were told that a Hispanic male
approached the pharmacy inside the store and gave the clerk a note
demanding Oxycodone. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed
amount of drugs totaling $36,000.00.

A bank robber who made his getaway in a taxi didn't rack up much
cab fare. Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department
arrested the man while still a passenger in the cab shortly after
attempting his getaway.
